My brother was re-admitted to hospital yesterday morning, he had been extremely ill all night and the Docs believe it has something to do with his scar tissue (from his previous operation) constricting his bowels. I’m not too sure about all the details, but yeah, he’s got a tube running through his nose down to his stomach and it’s current extracting all this black gunk residing in his body. Apparently we’ll find out the verdict tomorrow, regarding surgery etc. Poor dude, this is the demon lord’s work for him questioning my intelligence (or lack there of). I’m just kidding, I really am wishing my brother all the best for a speedy recovery.
My dad on the other hand.. I’m going to, in-detail, post a full rant about him on day 6 of this challenge, harharhar.
Your Favourite Book: Greylands
I first read Greylands by Isobelle Carmody when I was in year seven (12 y/o), and straight away I was captivated. For a YA novel it really is brilliant, it conveys dark and supernatural themes in a fluent manner, and like most of Carmody’s stories; it is written with great meticulousness and close attention to detail.
I normally would have chosen a book series that I adore to respond to today’s topic, but I was eager to challenge myself to write about one book that is not part of a series (given the nature of the question). As much as I adore this book, there are a lot more book series that I’m extremely fond of. I’ll save those series that are recipients of my love and infatuation for another day :3!
What’s your favourite book?

Ahh I have read The Gathering by Isobelle Carmody and it was a good book but part of me hated the HELL out of it. Maybe it’s because I honestly cannot tolerate fantasy books, or just because the dog died and I was so angry. D:
I am wishing your brother a speedy recovery also, it sounds painful what he’s going through. Yikes. <3
Ahaha yeah, James's sister is …weird. He doesn't really get along with her, or so it seems. It's really ridiculous to be honest, I barely know her and she barely knows me. Oh well, I'm not wasting my time on her, getting angry was enough (and against Sebby's rules of Taking Care of Georgina Book 1), and after all it is just a funny matter.
Some people can exaggerate when it comes to personal space and violence, I guess. It's pretty amusing. I know Lilian will make an awesome lawyer one day!
AHHA yeah, I love James's use of the :3 face. Always in appropriate context, hehe.
Ah well it's a long time back, and I had dated younger guys back then, so my reputation was pretty fucked up because people thought I was a freak and a strange person. Some people get nasty just because of age difference in a relationship. :|
Aww thank you Cozza! Heck. *blushes* I do blog all too often, I know you're a snooper but I don't mind. The only downside is your super long comments which admittedly turn me off a bit from comment returning, but hey, it means ballsackin' lots. <3
It's easy to misinterpret on the internet so I always have to be careful with what I'm saying as well!
You're welcome! Ah well, attendance isn't EVERYTHING, I was just the dork who wanted to come to school every day, so it's no biggie. Speaking of dorks I'm most certainly a geek, I just said to my friend "&hugs;". Way to go haha.
AHHH GOOD OL' DOUGLAS ROFLES. I hope you write more stories about him soon, how hilarious. :3
Oh, random note in the middle of my comment – it's a shame you couldn't hack back cozmosis.net, but .orgs have a lovely ring to them and are strikingly gorgeous, I hope you'd agree, even though a small part of me likes cozmosis.net better because it just fits. ;)
Ahhhh *bigger blush* I know I'm a busy person ahha, I guess I'm used to getting all these compliments now but thank you Cozza. :) It feels good to know I'm not just trying hard and getting unnoticed. :3
Oh I'm one to call myself a bitch sometimes but that is of course holding the same meaning as when I say "stupid Asians". You can't be racist to yourself or dis yourself; it doesn't seem to work – the same way one would say to a friend. I call Ryan an idiot all the time and Sebby a jerk, it's all in good fun.
Nuh-uh; I didn't notice too many people changing negatively in high school! Strange, that.
Ahh I see, wow, so you do know Grum haha! He seems to be famous enough; heck look at his followers on Twitter! I'm surprised you haven't bumped into him but then again the world is a lot bigger than we think, at least in the big bad world out there. It's so much smaller online (like hello, I talked to Ben Jorgensen! XD).
Sydney is boring to me now but no doubt it would be amazing to a soul like you haha. The same way Perth is to me – same thing you said!
Ahaha I see what you mean. My mum said that if I married a white person, I might end up divorcing pretty quickly. I know it's an odd thought, I hate to sound racist though. Yet I find mixed – like Asian/white couples – to be quite cute… hehe.
Nah it's fine, go ahead and ask! Brandon and I talk in mixed Indonesian/English, it's a bit crappy. We're not great at Indonesian at all but we can understand lots of bits and pieces.
I don't care haha, I personally think kilts and bagpipes are win, damn it. :3
I suppose I searched better because I took that stupid uni subject called "information discovery and analysis" which helped us search better on Google. It was so lame though.
Ah, first time I watched Spirited Away was in high school in Japanese class! LOL.
Oh well, for stupid reasons, I disabled my Formspring. I got annoying questions and into a tiff with someone over it, so I just disabled it. I sort of lost interest in that anyway. :P You can just ask me questions in comments! LOL.
YOU CAN! I BELIEVE IN YOU! *points to the sky* COMMENT MORE OFTEN, YOU!
